    Juri Lütje, country manager Denmark:

    – Customer adapted information is my melody.

As a consultant Juri Lütje visits doctors both in hospitals and in primary care, nurses, dieticians, midwives, pharmacy staff and even end users for some of the company’s products.

–POA Pharma is a “Boutique Healthcare Company”, a small company with an extraordinarily wide and varied product assortment within a number of areas. We offer pharmaceuticals, medical food and mother & child products, to name some of the most important. This makes special demands of me as the one informing about them, says Juri.

    Relevance

    – A doctor expects be informed in a certain way, midwives in another, pharmacy staff in a third etc. The information varies according to profession but the common denominator is always that these professionals are looking for new solutions that help and improve their daily work.

    – POA Pharma has relevance. Our products and concepts are of value to the customer and make a difference for the patient. When I leave the customer, he or she must have gotten smarter, been given tips about new documentation, new diagnoses or additional patient groups that can respond well to new treatment.

    – The goal of increasing the customer’s competence and the patient/end user quality of life is a strategic corner stone of POA Pharma and a prerequisite for our continued development.

    Challenging disinformation

Juri tells us that the work of informing about pharmaceuticals not only means news and knowledge sharing.

    – It is also necessary to challenge prejudices and disinformation. A good example is the resistance discussion related to antibiotics. My colleagues and I can in a factual way expel the myth that “every use of local antibiotics causes resistance”. Here I can use my scientific background.

    – Cetraxal and Cetraxal Comp do not cause antibiotic resistance. This is a fact that some have found hard to accept and those discussion have had the effect that our argument has been further sharpened.

    Mother care

Among other jobs Juri has to inform breastfeeding mothers about POA Pharma’s products, first of all the Lansinoh assortment.

    – The Lansinoh crème gives quick and effective help against painful and damaged nipples. Lansinoh is the only lanolin in the world that is absolutely pure. It does not cause allergies. This is information that breastfeeding mothers happily and enthusiastically receive. At the meetings arranged by POA Pharma often hundreds of mothers come to listen and to learn. Midwives and health visitors recommend Lansinoh crème to almost all new mothers who have trouble with sore nipples.

    – Lansinoh nipple crème and other Lansinoh products have become a huge success.

    The responsibility of part ownership

That POA Pharma has wind in its sails shows that a small, newly founded company with a unique product mixture can contribute to a better health sector.

    – In POA Pharma, which is owned by the employees, every employee has a big influence but also a big responsibility. Part ownership is something you are influenced by.

    – It happens that customers understand and comment on the fact that I am a part owner and thereby co-responsible. It gives respect and a good connection not at least among those doctors and other in the health sector who run their own business.

    – POA Pharma Scandinavia demonstrates that a relatively small group can make a large difference. More ought to experience the excitement, which comes with belonging to a pioneer group within health care.

    – I have been given the opportunity to join from the beginning a growing health care company. It is a great privilege but also a challenge. As long as we hold on to the principle that POA should be driven by customer and user needs, I believe in continued progress, Juri Lütje ends.
